What a day I have had! I have just returned from Saint Andrews, Scotland, and couldn’t wait to write about it. This place is one of a kind, and the famous place where golf originated!
We began our early morning journey with a quick walk on the West Sands beach. The tide was very low in the morning, but quickly reached further towards shore as the day went on.
My group and I then continued on the West side of town to the St. Andrews Castle. These famous ruins are what used to be one of the tallest castles in Europe.
After seeing the castle, I scurried up to the Cathedral for more sight-seeing. This cathedral has what is left of its building, but now has been moved to a graveyard for what I can imagine, were some pretty important people.
The world awaits…discover it.
