1) Reusable Water Bottle
Water is expensive in Spain, but you need it. Especially when you consider how undrinkable the tap is and how hot the weather is. After awhile you start to realize how much you could have saved financially and environmentally. Take my advice and bring a reusable water bottle.
2) Power Strip
This isn’t true for every house, but in my room there was a very limited amount of outlets. When you factor in having a roommate and possessing multiple electric-hoarding items, like a laptop, camera, phone, electric toothbrush, etc., the opportunities to energize become scarce. For this reason, it’s a bad idea to bring an electric toothbrush. Bring a manual toothbrush instead; it’ll be easier to travel with on excursions, better environmentally, and one less item to worry about charging.
3) Full-Sized Toiletries
They say you should bring travel- size bottles of toiletries, like shampoo, conditioner, etc., and then buy what you need here, but I don’t agree. Because pretty much everything is more expensive here, I firmly believe you should bring your own toiletries. Plus, girls, you don’t really need all the clothes that you think you will use. Carrying these items will force you to be smarter about how you pack and cut down on unnecessary clothing items.
wow so helpful~
thanks!
