ISA Announces New Student Teaching Semester Program in Chile

ISA is pleased to announce a new academic program in Chile designed for Education majors. Students enrolled in the Student Teaching & Spanish Language semester program will have the unique opportunity to gain experience student teaching while abroad. A sign of ISA’s continued commitment to Education majors, the new Chile semester is ISA’s first teacher education program in Latin America.

Offered in partnership with long-standing ISA Chile host university Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, the Student Teaching program while be offered during the Spring semester beginning in 2014. Open to students with an Advanced Spanish language level, program participants will learn teaching theory and practice, while having the opportunity to practice and continue learning Spanish. The subjects offered for student teachers are: Math, English, Natural Sciences, History, Physical Education, Musical Education, Art & Technology Education and Spanish Communication.
