ISA is pleased to announce a new program in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Santo Domingo is a city filled with a deep history, a vibrant culture, and a distinctly Caribbean urban environment. The capital of the Dominican Republic, the largest city in the Caribbean, and one of the oldest cities in the Western Hemisphere, Santo Domingo is now ISA’s newest program city, offering students the opportunity to experience this amazing city while taking classes at the Universidad Iberoamericana. ISA has offered programs in Santiago, Dominican Republic since 2004 and we are excited to now offer students the opportunity to experience a new city on the island that we love dearly.
Summer, fall, spring and academic year programs are available to students studying in Santo Domingo starting in the spring of 2014. The Universidad Iberoamericana is a highly respected university and offers students the unique opportunity to enroll in courses with locals in both English and Spanish. Courses in English are offered in business health sciences and engineering, and students can take Spanish language courses and electives in Spanish in a wide variety of other fields.
Students studying in Santo Domingo will take in the wonders of the Dominican Republic during valuable, thrilling, and fulfilling excursions to dynamic destinations across the island – north, south, east and west. In addition, students will experience the friendliness of Dominican Culture while living with a local Dominican family in Santo Domingo.
