In my last blog post, I showed you some of my favorite views from the ‘Emerald Isle’ itself. As I mentioned, I am in a club called ‘Outdoor Pursuits Club’ which allows me to see parts of Ireland that are absolutely stunning. In this blog post, I take you on one of my favorite hikes that are in Co. Tipperary, called the Galtees Mountains. This hike has been by far my favorite hike. I have met some amazing people through OPC and have learned many things about Ireland’s geography.
I have been in Ireland for 72 days and have seen the majority of Ireland so I decided to explore other countries. In this blog, I show my trip to Vienna, Salzburg, and London. My favorite out of the three cities was Salzburg. I went on a cable car to Fortress Hohensalzburg which overlooked all of Salzburg and the alps. It was unreal and breathtaking, I am a big outdoorsy gal and geeked out some when I saw the alps for the first time. Salzburg has a lot to offer from a wide range of foods to farmers’ markets, shopping local, discovering Mozart’s home, and a variety of cathedrals and architecture to see. Lastly, the place I was staying at had bikes for their guests, and on my last day, I woke up early and went for a bike ride to take in the final views of such a beautiful city. Vienna is Austria’s capital and has plenty of history around it. I visited multiple museums, gardens, parks, charity shops, restaurants, and cathedrals. My most recent trip was to London. I really enjoyed sightseeing in London, as there are plenty of things to stay busy with. Some of my favorites include; Abbey Road, Westminster Abbey, Elizabeth Tower, London Bridge, Natural History Museum, London Eye, and Camden Market.
Overall my time here is flying by and I have many more places to see and explore. I hope this vlog/blog inspires you to go study abroad and see all these cool places that I have been given the opportunity to see. Until my next blog, Cheers Sierra!
