WorldStrides Creates Transformational Student Experiences

WorldStrides’ CEO Bob Gogel had the pleasure of sitting down recently with Joe Sallustio, EdD for the The EdUp Experience podcast to discuss educational travel, experiential learning and creating transformational student experiences. At WorldStrides, we call them life-changing moments.

These moments happen in our nation’s capital—over 100,000 students travel with us to D.C. every spring—and around the world: more than 9.5 million people have participated in one of our programs globally.

Our trips are predominantly teacher or faculty led; students can sign up individually, spend a semester or gap year studying abroad (or domestic), or experience career exploration and language immersion program. We serve students aged 10-35 on nearly every continent, have relationships with more than 60 U.S. colleges and universities.

Each time a student travels with us, they experience a life changing moment.

As we enter the final leg of the school year, consider how the student in your life can benefit from experiential learning in addition to what they’re learning in the classroom.
