I’m lucky enough to call Florence my home-base for the next few months. I can assure you returning home from weekend trips to Florence really isn’t that bad. Over the past two months, I’ve fallen in love with the city and all it offers. In this day and age, everyone loves a good Instagram photo location. Not only to soak in the beauty of the location, but to of course share it on Instagram! I now am going to get into where to go in Florence to get the perfect Instagram feed. These locations will range from famous landmarks to restaurants with the perfect aesthetic. Enjoy!
The Duomo
You can enter the famous Duomo for 10 euro and climb to the top for a fabulous view of Florence. The climb is quite narrow but the Duomo itself is the beauty! The Duomo is also very central and close to my favorite gelato shop–Grom.

Gucci Museo
This museum is dedicated to Gucci to celebrate their success and 90th anniversary. Inside the museum there are more photo spots than you can imagine. It’s only a 5 euro entrance fee and is located right by Palazzo Vecchio. The museum ranges from shoes exhibits to inspiration from prior Gucci campaigns.

View on Art Rooftop
View on Art Rooftop is a beautiful rooftop to grab a coffee or drink! The rooftop overlooks the Duomo and is a great place to gather with friends. You will enter through the hotel and take an elevator to the top. Another tip–call ahead to request the table closet to the Duomo!
Other favorite rooftops–Westin Excelsior Rooftop and SESTO on Arno River.

Studio Gelato
Studio Gelato is one of the cutest gelato places I’ve been to and has amazing gelato, crêpes and waffles. If your favorite color is pink, you must head here. And if you need a good dinner recommendation before, go to Trattoria Zà Zà right across the street.

Piazza Michelangelo
This spot is popular for tourists but very well worth it. Piazza Michelangelo looks over the skyline of Florence and the walk up is worth it. I recommend going during sunset!

La Ménagère
La Ménagère is a special spot. It’s not only a great spot to study and sit down for breakfast, but serves amazing food for dinner. You will be impressed with the interior and make sure to walk around the whole restaurant!

Ponte Vecchio/River Arno
Ponte Vecchio is the famous bridge in Florence that you may recognize. My favorite thing to do is to walk over the bridge at sunset to see the pretty colors from the river. This is a must see in Florence and is a great photo spot for many surrounding areas. If you want a good photo of the bridge in the back like my photo below, head to Ponte alle Grazie (5 min walk.)

Piazza Della Signoria
This piazza is a great place for photos at night. The well known tower, Palazzo Vecchio looks over the square as you can see in my picture below!

Florence continues to amaze me everyday with its beauty. There is no wonder why it’s such a top tourist destination. I hope you enjoy these spots more than I do!
