From internships in the heart of London to an international Christian mission practicum, London has something for every student, especially for those who crave an experience off the beaten path in one of the world’s most multicultural cities. Aside from academic excellence, London is also home to our full-time internship programs, Veritas Christian Study Abroad Mission programs, and short-term summer programs.
Full-Time Internships
London’s rich history and diversity provide depth to almost every career field and excellent options for current students, recent graduates and young professionals looking for a program that will give them the opportunity to explore their field from a new perspective. Interning in England is a particularly good option for students in the fashion industry. ISA fashion interns get hands-on experience in a truly global industry, learning about new aesthetics and how business-to-business transactions between suppliers and distributors function.
Interning in London is also ideal for students interested in Accounting, Business, Film, Finance, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Marketing, Social Work, and Theater. Study Abroad and International Missions
ISA-Veritas Christian Study Abroad adds spiritual support and opportunities to existing ISA study abroad programs. Through the guidance and support of on-site Mission Mentors, students connect with local churches and ministries throughout their time abroad and receive personal support throughout their semester or summer program. Students may have the opportunity to help with campus ministry, homeless ministry, student ministry, and other opportunities as they arise.
All ISA-Veritas students will be enrolled in the Veritas International Mission Practicum. The practicum is designed to enrich their program and mission experience through reflection assignments, research, and journaling.
As students’ study and serve in their new communities, they have a chance to grow their faith and develop a greater understanding of their host culture. This experience will forever change their perspective of the world around them.
3-Week Summer Programs
Renowned for its influence in the arts, humanities, and fashion, London thrives as an extremely culturally diverse city. Students can take classes such as “International Business”, “Introduction to the London Stage”, and “The Universe, and Jack the Ripper’s London”, to name a few. Students can earn 3-4 U.S. semester credits per 3-week session and 6-8 U.S. semester credits if they participate in back-to-back programs. All courses are taught on campus by university faculty, allowing students to sample the authentic London university experience.
Outside of the classroom, students will explore the Tower of London and Windsor Castle and venture to south England on their ISA staff-led excursion to Brighton. For more information programming options in London, click here.
From full-time internships to Christian missions or short-term summer programs with back-to-back options, London has something for everyone.
