Gold Coast
A global city featuring shimmering skyscrapers along the white sand coast and warm rays of sunshine 300 days per year, the Gold Coast provides a perfect study abroad destination, blending the exciting city life with the leisure lifestyle of a renowned beach destination. Beyond the city’s glimmering lights and sparkling blue waters is a wealth of natural beauty to explore including the world-heritage listed Springbrook National Park, an ISA excursion destination, which boasts impressive waterfalls, an abundance of native vegetation and wildlife, and some of the oldest forests in Australia.
Exploring iconic Australian attractions such as the Great Barrier Reef, Whitsunday Islands, the Sydney Opera House and Ayer’s Rock at Uluru are a breeze with the Gold Coast’s location in Southeast Queensland and easy access to two international airports nearby. Whatever your fancy, the Gold Coast is sure to please.

Bond University
As Australia’s leading independent university, Bond offers study abroad students a tight-knit campus where class sizes are small and getting to know professors and classmates is easy. Students may pursue courses in a variety of academic disciplines including Business, Hospitality and Tourism, Criminology, Psychology and many more. Outside of the classroom walls, students have access to Australia’s largest university gym, an Olympic-size pool, on campus clubs and organizations and a vibrant student life filled with events all semester long.
Bond’s trimester system aligns well with Northern Hemisphere academic calendars and presents the opportunity to easily pursue back to back program terms and/or complete an entire semester’s worth of credits during the summer term from May to August.

Griffith University
A rapidly expanding, large modernized campus, located just 20 minutes from Surfer’s Paradise, one of Australia’s most famous beaches, is what study abroad students will find while attending Griffith University. Academic highlights include Exercise Science and Nutrition, Communications, Business, and the unique opportunity for professional development in Griffith’s Community Internship course, an academic subject where participants build valuable personal and professional skills while volunteering in a community organization.
When not attending lectures or hitting the books studying, students can hop on the metro and explore all of the excitement the Gold Coast has to offer using one of the two G-Link metro stops located right on campus!
