A J-term study abroad program stands for January term. It’s typically 2-4 weeks and is squeezed into the month of January. Some schools may not have this option, in which case, this is not going to be a good fit for you. But, many schools do! If your school does, it’s a great program if you’re a busy athlete, your curriculum is so specific that you’re unable to study abroad during the typical semester term, or you simply want to squeeze in some extra credits instead of hanging out at your parent’s house for the long winter break.
Like other study abroad programs, choosing a program that will fit in with what you’re wanting to do can be confusing, which is why ISA is here to help. We’ve got eight amazing programs to get you out of the house, into a new culture, and earning college credit.
