ISA Scholarship Week 2017 is Here!

ISA is excited to announce our 3rd annual ISA Scholarship Week, October 2nd – 6th!

During this week, we will be highlighting various scholarships that are sponsored through both ISA and our generous host universities abroad, as well as some additional specifically targeted outside scholarships.

Please refer to our scholarship webinar for helpful insights on our featured scholarships and valuable tips for students on how to apply and make a scholarship application stand out!

ISA awards over $140,000 in scholarships to study abroad participants each year, so you won’t want your students to miss out on these exciting funding opportunities!

ISA Scholarship Week Schedule

MondayOctober 2nd

  • ISA Memorial Scholarships: Dr. Carlos E. Castañeda Memorial Scholarship, Michaela Farnum Memorial Scholarship, Live Like Ally Memorial Scholarship, Kalyn Peterson Memorial Service-Learning Scholarship, and (New for 2018!) Gina Rosko Memorial Scholarship.

TuesdayOctober 3rd

  • ISA Diversity Scholarship: The ISA Diversity Scholarship aims to expand the diversity of study abroad students and encourage students of a broader cultural make-up to participate in ISA programs by offering funds to assist with the expenses of studying abroad.
  • Diversity Scholarship Blog Opportunity: Students who apply for the Diversity Scholarship will automatically be considered to fill select number of ISA Featured Diversity Blogger slots. If selected, students will have the opportunity to write for the ISA Student Blog during their time abroad, sharing their unique perspective with ISA’s broad audience.

WednesdayOctober 4th

  • EuroScholars: Students participating in a EuroScholars undergraduate research program and who demonstrate financial need are encouraged to apply for these scholarships, which can potentionally cover up to 25% of a EuroScholars program cost.

ThursdayOctober 5th

  • ISA Host University Scholarships: Many of our host university partners generously offer ISA students the opportunity to apply for university-specific scholarships. Have your students consider these if they will be going abroad with ISA to Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Spain, England or Ireland!
