As a student living in Sydney, I can tell you there are endless opportunities for adventure. The people are extraordinary, the beaches shimmer bright blue and gold, and the city is buzzing with energy. After a short train ride from my uni, it is easy to spend the day wandering through the city. So what does a typical day in Sydney look like? Keep scrolling!
Hop off the train at Circle Quay station to start your day in the heart of the city—near the Sydney Opera House. This is undoubtedly the most popular attraction in Sydney, and it does not disappoint. There are crowds of people lining the sidewalks to admire its beauty.
A quick ferry ride in the harbor gives a new perspective of the Opera House, including the Harbor Bridge.
The harbor is filled with different places to discover. This image can be seen from a small island owned by Aboriginal peoples. There are many other locations just like this one, with green trees and skyline views.
Speaking of skyline views, the one across from the Opera House is breathtaking. The ferries come and go every thirty minutes, taking people to and from the city.
Sometimes, the best thing to do in the city is simply get lost. Get lost in the skyscrapers that line the streets. Find small shops or large restaurants. The city is full of hidden gems, and walking through the streets is the best way to discover them.
At the end of the day, relax and enjoy the sunset like this one from my apartment. Every day a new adventure awaits!
