15 minutes from Currumbin Beach lays a secret swim hole, the Currumbin Rock Pools. The Rock Pools are hidden by a forest of trees and as one would guess, rocks; if you’re not looking hard enough for it you could miss it. The swim hole is popular among locals and has landed itself on many of the ‘Must Do Lists’ for the Gold Coast tourist. Currumbin Rock Pools is surrounded by many pools of different sizes and depths. A few areas are clearer than others, deeper, and smaller, but they’re all still great for a swim. To top it off, the water is fresh which is said to be good for the skin.
To get to the main pool at Currumbin, it’s only a short drive down the hill. Here you’ll catch many families having a picnic, playing with their dogs, taking a swim, or even jumping off the rocks for fun. The swim hole gives people enough room to watch from the sidelines, catch a tan, sit on neighboring rocks, or even exploring the small woods near by.

The Currumbin Rock Pools is an excellent place to get away for a while and to be closer to nature. It’s also perfect for a small adventure.
The world awaits…discover it.
