This past weekend ISA Granada took us on an amazing excursion to Ronda, Spain. This was a trip like no other. Ronda is an ancient ruin that sits in the heart of the Serrania de Ronda.
Our arrival started with a relaxing night on the beach and the next morning we began our day with a walking tour, where we would indulge in the beauty of the city. Our tour started with El Tajo Gorge and the Puente Bridge.
The bridge joins the old Moorish town and the newer, El Mercadillo parts of the city. This also happens to be Ronda’s most famous landmark that took about 42 years to build.
Lastly we visited Ronda’s Arab Bath House that has been incredibly preserved in Spain since they were built at the end of the 13th century. The bath house was another site that made me question millions of things; How was mankind able to construct such things without modern day technology? How is the bath house still preserved? Ronda literally took my breath away. I now understand why It is considered one of the most beautiful and visited cities in Spain.
