ISA Awards $1,000 Scholarship to Ireland Study Abroad Student

Anna Lussier, a sophomore at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire, was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship from ISA to study abroad in Ireland.

The ISA scholarship was awarded in conjunction with the Go Overseas Study Abroad in Ireland scholarship. The Go Overseas scholarship offered applicants a chance to win $15,000 towards tuition and $4,000 towards accommodation from Education in Ireland, and a round-trip flight from Aer Lingus. Go Overseas received over 3,000 applicants.

Students who applied for the Go Overseas Study Abroad in Ireland scholarship who were also accepted into an ISA study abroad program in Ireland were eligible to win a $1,000 scholarship from ISA. Anna Lussier applied for the Go Overseas scholarship, and while she did not win their scholarship, she has won ISA’s! Anna has been accepted into ISA’s study abroad program in Galway, Ireland for the Fall 2016 semester, and plans to study Economics, History, and Irish Studies while at the National University of Ireland, Galway.

There’s still time to study abroad with ISA in Ireland this Fall! The application deadlines for the ISA Dublin Fall 6 2016 program and the ISA Limerick Fall 1 2016 program is May 1st, 2016!
