Art in Tokyo

Offered through University of Colorado at Denver, this program focused on Design, Illustration, and the Pursuit of Wabi-Sabi. CU Denver students explored design and illustration through the artful culture of Japan on this 3-week program spanning 5 cities.  The group visited temples, art galleries, gardens, bathhouses, and participated in interactive art workshops, all while residing in a variety of traditional housing and utilizing Japan’s modern and efficient public transportation.

Art Appreciation & Fine Arts Photography in Paris

Students took two courses offered by Purdue University Calumet over the course of four weeks. Completely experiential in nature, this program provides students with visits to over 20 Parisian museums and historical landmarks. Each day, students focus on different artistic movements and sites including Impressionism, Baroque Interiors, Medieval Art, Renaissance Art, Modern Art and more.

Service Program in Morocco

At the Orphanage and Boys Detention Center in Meknes, Rider University students taught English and built a garden with the help of local Moroccan University students, developing strong friendships. In the final days of the program, students experienced the wonders of Morocco through an overnight visit to the desert in Merzouga, followed by a captivating visit to the city of Marrakech, rich in history, beautiful mosques and lush gardens.
