Florianopolis, Brazil offers a range of experiences and sights each day. Here are only a few pictures compared to the hundreds that could be taken of this city. I chose pictures based off of what I experience on a routine day during the week.
During a normal weekday, I’ll take the bus into the downtown area called Centro.
I’m drawn mostly to all of the colors found in the markets, streets, and people.
The colors dance around your peripherals creating a visual aroma fun to walk through each day. It’s also inevitable that I mention that the food in Brazil never fails to satisfy.
I find that the people here are generally kind-hearted and always seeking to be of use to another person.
This stigma of Brazil hosting dishonest and dangerous people couldn’t be farther from the truth. They exist, however this stigma shouldn’t be applied to everyone. I’ve met strangers here who have treated me more warmly than people I’ve known for years in the States. Brazilians are generous.
Brazilians are humble. Brazilians are open-minded.
24 hours in Brazil is a lifetime of curiosity, happiness, and passion.
Tired of Netflix marathons and ready to get out and explore the world? Yeah, we know. Here you go.
