ISA-ELAP Announces New Film & Media Internship Programs in India

ISA’s service-learning and internship division, ELAP, is pleased to introduce new Film & Media programs in India.

Mumbai, formally Bombay, houses India‘s Hindi (Bollywood) and Marathi film and television industry. With over a thousand film productions each year, Bollywood is one of the largest film industries in the world and is rapidly gaining widespread acclaim across the map for its elaborate sets and costumes, as well as its notorious song and dance sequences.

ISA-ELAP programs provide an opportunity to spend time on a film set to get a glimpse of the world of casting directors, prop houses, set designers, production executives, action directors, stunt masters, and the plethora of cast and crew that make up the film industry.  Participants will also attend informational lectures and meet with film professionals such as cameramen, scriptwriters, producers and actors.  Last but not least, participants will visit post-production studios and learn more about background music, visual effects, editing, and more.

Students can choose from a variety of start dates for the 4-week programs or join one of the group programs that take place over winter and summer break. Group programs are limited to a maximum of 15 participants, so be sure to apply early to secure your spot on the program.
