Based at the Universidad del Deusto in Bilbao, the Business, International Relations & Spanish Language program is ideal for students looking to study in a prestigious university AND gain both practical hands-on experience during their time abroad. Here are five reasons why you should consider it:
1. Study at the oldest private university and oldest business school in Spain. The University of Deusto is internationally renowned for its prestigious business program, and offers a wide variety of Business courses instructed in both English and Spanish.
2.. Participate in a Business Internship for academic credit. The Business Internship is a great opportunity for advanced or high advanced Spanish-speakers wanting to get hands-on experience working at a local business.
3. Participate in a Service-Learning course for academic credit. The Social Participation and Development Service-Learning course is an ideal option for students interested in international development.
4. Study with Locals – ISA Bilbao students have the unique opportunity to enroll in up to two classes per semester with Spanish students. This is not typically an option for study abroad students elsewhere in Spain.
5. Immerse yourself in Northern Spain’s thriving city of commerce. While the Universidad del Deusto has long promoted international exchange, there are relatively few North American students in the city. As such, ISA students in Bilbao typically find it easier to meet locals compared to other Spanish cities.
