New Santo Domingo Internship Option Available to Semester and Summer Students

ISA is pleased to announce a new academic internship in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Beginning Spring 2014, participants enrolled in the Business, Health Sciences, Engineering & additional Courses with Locals program offered during the Spring, Fall and Summer will be able to enroll in a new credit-bearing internship course.

While the internship course at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) is open to students of all language levels, some placements may require Spanish proficiency. Students will be academically assessed based on the submission of periodic reports and a final report upon completion of the internship. Placements are available in the following fields: Advertising, Architecture, Business Administration, Education, Engineering, Hotel and Tourism Administration, Interior Design, Law, Marketing and Psychology.

In addition to an academic internship, ISA students can enroll in Spanish language courses and a wide variety of content courses instructed in English in the areas of Business, Health Sciences, Engineering and more. Students who place into the advanced Spanish language level have the opportunity to take courses with local students instructed in Spanish in an even greater number of disciplines.

In addition to the academic internship program at the UNIBE, a wide variety of additional internship placements is available in both Santo Domingo and Santiago through ISA’s experiential learning division, ISA-ELAP.
