Education and Business Academic Internships Now Available at the University of Deusto

Looking for more ways to immerse yourself into Spanish culture? Do you want to boost your resume while abroad? Consider an academic internship with ISA Bilbao. Students have the opportunity to participate in an Internship in Business or an Internship in Education during their Semester or Academic Year. The prestigious University of Deusto individual internship placements based on each student’s area of interest within either Business or Education. There are a limited amount of placements still available for Spring 2013, but time is ticking!

Internship in Business
Students enroll in an Internship in Business course at the university and spend approximately ten hours per week. There are placements available from a wide variety of fields within business:

Accounting and Finance
Hotel Management
International Relations
Public Relations

A supervisor assists the student in the practicum setting and evaluates the quality of the student’s work. Deusto faculty guide students throughout the duration of the internship program. Meetings with an academic component are held on a weekly basis.

Internship in Education
The education internship mainly focuses on the active observation of Spanish or English language classes in primary or secondary schools throughout the city of Bilbao.

Students spend approximately 4-5 hours per week at the education centers. A supervisor will assist the student in the internship setting. Deusto faculty guide the students’ observation process and meetings will be set on a regular basis.
