This past Sunday a group of students from ISA Morocco and Moulay Ismail University helped deliver donations to a nearby village, providing 50 blankets, 4 computers, 3 soccer balls, 30 packs of crayons and 30 bags of shoes and clothing for students and residents.
The students worked together to collect donations over the course of two weeks, gathering monetary contributions, clothing and other materials for the school. The donations were then delivered to students and local residents in Bouquachmir, a small village located about 60 kilometers southwest of Meknès.
Before making the 60 kilometer trip back to Meknès, the students had the chance to see a bit more of the countryside by touring a local farm and vineyard. To wrap things up, they finished off the day with a BBQ lunch and tea (of course) with the owners of the farm!
Check out a few of the photos from the trip or visit the ISA Study Abroad – Morocco Facebook page to see what else the students have been up to.
