Celebrate the Year of the Dragon in China

ISA international studies abroad

2012 is the year of the dragon in China! As a creature of legend, the Chinese dragon is one of the most popular and highest-ranking spiritual animals in Chinese culture, symbolizing the ultimate in power and strength.

In the Forbidden City, one of the ISA cultural activities for students in China, visitors can see the delicately carved imperial dragons at Nine-Dragon Wall, as well as numerous and different dragon sculptures accenting the top of each building.

If you’re interested in experiencing the year of the dragon while studying abroad in China, check out one of ISA’s semester or summer programs in Beijing or Shanghai. Both cities offer a diverse list of courses and activities that you can fully take advantage of in the dragon year of 2012.
