Mi Viaje a París

Hola Estudiantes!

So I have just come back from Paris and I had an awesome time.  I went to Paris with four of my friends and we were there for a total of 2 days.  My favorite part of visiting Paris was the Eiffel Tower.  My friends and I arrived in Paris around 4:00pm.  From the airport, we caught a train to our hotel.  After unpacking our belongings, we set out to try to find the Eiffel Tower.  After walking for about an hour we finally reached the Eiffel Tower.

Me at the Eiffel Tower with all of the flashing lights!

I never imagined how large the Eiffel Tower was.  It was as if the Eiffel Tower reached the clouds.  The first thing I did was take pictures.  Although it was dark outside, the tower had lights so that you could see it in the night sky.  As we were getting ready to leave, I turned around and noticed that the tower’s lights were sparkling and flashing.  I hopped on top of a large square stone to take more pictures and to get a better view.  The Eiffel tower was great!

Do you know this painting? It’s the famous Mona Lisa!

Another place I visited was the Louvre Museum.  The Louvre holds some of the world’s greatest works of art.  It’s probably most famous for housing Leonardo Da Vinci’s painting of the Mona Lisa.  I’ve seen many pictures of the Mona Lisa but to see the Mona Lisa up close and personal was very cool.  I also got the chance to take a picture with a sculpture that you guys might know.  If you’ve ever watched the movie, “Night At The Museum” you know the talking sculpture, Dum Dum, who likes to chew bubble gum.  A sculpture of him was in the museum, and I took a picture with him.  I also took more pictures trying to do the same poses as the other sculptures.

I am part of the sculpture!

The last thing I did in Paris was go on a four hour bike tour of the city.  A group of about twenty people rode bikes around the city of Paris.  We were able to see some of the best sights that Paris had to offer.  We were also able to try some of the best ice cream in Paris.  I do not eat ice cream because I dislike the way it tastes, but I did have a waffle cone!  We finished the bike tour with a boat ride on the river.  Doing the bike tour and boat ride at night time in Paris was very fun.  Seeing the beautiful city of Paris with all of the lights was an awesome sight to see.

Me with my bike from the bike tour. We rode all around the city!

Again it’s been great writing you guys about my experiences.  If you all have any questions about my trips to Morocco or Paris I’d be more than happy to answer them.  Until next time,

Hasta Luego!
