Florence, Italy

I am from Seattle, Washington and attend Seattle Pacific University. I am currently a sophomore and am majoring in Visual Communication. I am in the ISA Spring Florence program and am so excited to explore Italy. I have always loved traveling and all the things that come with it like art, culture and food! Studying abroad is exciting to me because it’s an opportunity to be fully immersed in the culture. I’m looking forward to documenting my time in Italy through both digital and film photography and cannot wait to share it with others!

Seville, Spain

¡Hola! ¿Qué tal? My name is Sara, and I am a senior pursuing a degree in Spanish with a double minor in International Studies and Teaching English as a Second Language. I have been super fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to Spain before, so I knew I had to return for a semester abroad as soon as possible. Some of my favorite things include practicing Spanish with native speakers, trying new foods, and of course, photographing all of these experiences, big and small! Through my photos, I hope I can capture, even in the slightest, the beauty of Sevilla, Spain, and show you all of the reasons you should study abroad here!

Hello! I’m Julianna Fuhr and I’m from Chicago, Illinois. I’m a sophomore at Arizona State University studying Marketing and Business Management. Growing up, I’ve always had an adventurous spirit. Luckily, I had the opportunity to live in southern Switzerland with my family for three years. I absolutely loved my time abroad which led me to study in Florence this semester. I’m so excited for all the opportunities to travel this semester and see Europe from an older perspective. Some of my hobbies include traveling, photography, and fashion which I’m thrilled to talk about in my upcoming blog posts. Ciao!
