It’s safe to say that you can never be bored in Barcelona, Spain. Barcelona is full of places to eat, go out, salsa dancing, attend art museums, and more- it has such a lively and rich culture. One of my favorite parts of Spain are its many beautiful parks. The Arc de Triomf and Parc de la Ciutadella are two spots that you cannot miss when you explore Barcelona.
The Arc de Triomf is a magnificent arc that was originally built for the 1888 Barcelona World Fair. This area is now an amazing place to take photographs, admire the monument, watch street performances, walk around, skateboard, the list goes on. I am personally always captured by the bubbles created by locals behind the arc. It is fun to watch kids become mesmerized by the large magical bubbles, and it’s practically impossible not to become mesmerized yourself.
The fountains located within the park are some of the most beautiful creations, and just a quick walk away from the arc. The park itself is a great place to relax and have a picnic, watch beautiful birds in the fountains, or simply stroll around on one of Barcelona’s (many) sunny days. Both of these areas are constantly full of people and have a very fun atmosphere with a little something for everyone! I highly recommend exploring the magical Arc de Triomf and Parc de la Ciutadella!
