When we think of music in Ireland, a few names come to mind: Bono, Hozier, Damien Rice, The Cranberries, Van Morrison, Thin Lizzy, the list goes on…
But since I’ve started making my way through Ireland, I have found that there is just as much talent on this beautiful country’s streets than there is on the stages of world renowned arenas.
Whether the sound is soft and simple…
Or rambunctious and full of energy…
Whether it’s a one man band…
Or a team effort…
The best of Ireland’s sounds come in all shapes and sizes and might even include a dancing side act.
And after listening and wishing you could take the sound home with you…the antique shops, record stores and music shops on every corner let you do just that.
Thank you for your response. ✨
The world awaits…discover it.
