Meagan is a two-time alumni of ISA’s San José Costa Rica program, studying first in the Winter 2008 Trimester and for an Intensive Month in 2009. She loved her time in Costa Rica, with its beautiful landscape, genuine people, wonderful food and the collective and inviting nature of the culture. Meagan earned a BA in Secondary Spanish and French Education at Saginaw Valley State University. She is currently studying for her Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language at Central Michigan University. In addition to living in Costa Rica, Meagan has traveled to Ireland, Denmark, Norway and Puerto Rico with family. As a wheelchair-user, Meagan was greatly impressed by ISA’s commitment to accommodate the needs of her physical challenge. She looks forward to joining the team of ISA Global Ambassadors to help create unforgettable study abroad opportunities for other students with various interests and needs as well.
