I have spent nearly five months in this beautiful country called Chile. Since I only have class three days a week, There is a great amount of time to travel around and explore! After many weekend trips and a break for Fiestas Patrias (the celebration for the Chilean Independence Day) someone mentioned to a friend of mine that it was like we were camping abroad, not studying abroad. Studying abroad has great benefits, including this! It’s nice to have time to really see the area of where you are in and learning all about the culture and the city. Getting out of the city for a few days allows you to unwind and enjoy the absolutely beautiful nature of Chile. From great camping spots, to the great views, how can you not fall in love with this country?
Ever wondered what the life of one of our four-legged friends looks like overseas? Check it out in Chile here: “Los Corazónes de Chile”
